Software Defined Radio (SDR) opens the door to hidden worlds of wireless and radio frequency technology. For very little cost and just a few minutes of training, you will monitor local radio traffic, track aircraft.
Delving further, you'll use specialized hardware and software, like the Flipper Zero and HackRF, copy RFID and sub-GHz signals, and even generate your own transmissions for tactical use.

Instructor: Grey Fox Grey Fox is a U.S. military veteran with over 20 years of intelligence and cybersecurity experience, specializing in offensive cyberspace operations, digital network intelligence, and SDR instruction. He has presented at DEF CON and B-Sides, and holds certifications like CISSP, GCTI, GASF, GAWN, and CWNA.

Skill Level: Beginner - Intermediate

What You Will Learn Lesson One: Radio frequency and antenna basics, SDR concepts, RTL-SDR chipset, and receiving radio signals
Lesson Two: Exploring local radio signals, tracking aircraft with ADS-B, and exploring local radio repeaters for intelligence collection
Lesson Three: Intro to HackRF and generating signals using DragonOS
Lesson Four: Flipper Zero walk-through, spectrum analysis, and signal replay

What You Will Need Laptop running Windows 10/11 or Ubuntu 22.04 (MacOS support may vary)
Hypervisor to run DragonOS (optional)
Bring your own Flipper Zero and/or HackRF (if available)

What You Will Receive RTL-SDR v3/v4
2 aerial antenna sets
Antenna stand and SMA connection cables
Course book

Who Should Attend Ideal for radio frequency hackers, hardware testers, SIGINT operators, and anyone interested in foundational SDR operations for tactical use.
